This is a very special landscape photography / ASTRO workshop collaboration with Tyler Collins Photography and is not to be missed! Tyler is an amazing night sky & landscape photographer and is currently working and living in Finland as an Aurora guide!
Our last workshop together couldn’t have gone any better! Honestly, it was the best workshop conditions either of us have ever had. We had 100% clear skies in every direction, even the horizon was clear of cloud, something both of us have never seen in all the years we’ve been shooting astro along the coast.
You’ll be learning the fundamentals of wide field astrophotography, focusing in the dark, finding your composition, long exposures, star trails and much much more.
Not only will we be shooting wide field astrophotography, but we’ll also be shooting objects in the sky with the use of a tracker, so bring your longer lenses as well
Each workshop is limited to only 8 participants, and with 2 tutors there will be plenty of 1-2-1 time for everyone.
While no knowledge of night photography techniques is required for this workshop you must understand that this isn’t a beginners guide to using your DSLR. You should already have a decent working knowledge of your camera gear and how the exposure triangle works.
This is a night not to be missed.
